Caustic Light

fyeahmetal This rules! Its metal-with-underlying-punk sensibility reminds me of Yautja, though not as freewheeling. You get everything here from death metal to post-metal, but it's all tied together by a really cool droning quality to the riffs. This band has great things ahead for them! Favorite track: Caustic Light.
Classy Metal

Classy Metal Vice Blessing and Void are on opposite ends of the heavy spectrum, but seamlessly mesh together into 8 minutes of pure hopelessness and bliss. Well done.
Darknight
Darknight thumbnail
Darknight Brilliant blackened crusted sludge that sonically crushes you into submission. It's an audio nightmare of suffocating doom and it's absolutely brilliant. Autolith must be heard! Favorite track: Void (Crawl back to Nothing).

sky · ghost Wow this is a HUGE leap forward from their self titled EP. More dynamics, heavier riffs, perfect pacing all the way through. Whatever magic ichor Inter Arma is drinking, Autolith found the fountain. Easily one of my favorite releases of 2020! Favorite track: Void (Crawl back to Nothing).
fives

fives Searing blend of crusty black death that'll skin you and throw you in a river to drown. One of 2020's heaviest records. Instant classic. Love you Ian. Love you Brian. Love you Ryan. Love you Marky Mark. Favorite track: Unyielding Loss.

about

Recorded at Ecko Records in Memphis, TN
Engineered and Mixed by Justin Short
Mastered at Audiosiege by Brad Boatright

"They create sonic portals of cosmic filth! -Sean Reveron, CVLT Nation

"It’s as if you’re laying immobilized on the ground, helplessly watching a dumptruck full of grief slowly tip its contents onto you until you suffocate under its cement-like weight." -Meghan MacRae, CVLT Nation

"Caustic Light leaves no prisoners, as its massive sound nods to the swampy sludge metal of bands like Eyehategod, with an underlying melodious groundwork, and a lyrical content overflowing with dark pessimism contrasted by headstrong fortitude, in an overall anarchic and utterly compelling outcome." -ZR, Destroy//Exist
